Hoodie piracy

Thing that is amusing me at the moment: the Elephant and Castle shopping centre has now banned hoodies. This probably isn’t funny unless you know the place, which I do, having grown up in the area and been taken along for a Coke float fairly often. It’s a fucking dump, and the management are a joke. They painted the entire place bright pink once, something that was perhaps the worst imaginable thing to do – think of an enormous multistorey concrete block in a busy traffic nexus, bright and I do mean bright pink. (They toned it down to a darker red after a while.)

But anyway, the idea of the Elephant and Castle centre trying to go upmarket at all is funny in a “funny-because-it’s-so-pathetic” way, and them trying to do it by hoodie bandwaggoning has twice the pathetic and therefore twice the funny. Forget about going bloody “upmarket” and getting rid of riff-raff, just make sure the place is clean, has decent shops in and doesn’t hurt anyone’s eyes.

There is nothing to steal. If anything it should be a hoodie ghetto once everyone else has banned them

What a joke, we sell hoodies from Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle to Volcom and Roxy. s Shameless plug yes….but on the hoodies issue, is there some kind of movement building agaisnt hoodies? Has this nation gone insane or was it already there? As the vast majority of all 15 – 30 year olds own a hooded top this does seem like people who dont understand how to solve a problem are coming up with wild excuses for the reasons this country is devolping into a mad house. Any way bollocks to that the website is http://www.studentstash.com, buy some hoodies and become a criminal – ‘STUDENT STASH HELPING THE CRIMINALS OF THE FUTURE TO A FUTURE IN CRIMINALITY’ – soon to become our new slogan

Right now I am sat wearing an abercrombie and fitch hoodie wondering how the heck I got on this site but anyways enough banter….wat is this new, crappy rule all about then!! I am happy to say that on regular occasions I like to doss around or even go shopping in my hoodie..it comes with the student domain but does that instantly label me as a thief or a vandal or…someone that would do something illegal?? Haha ok I admit I do drive a bit fast sometimes but this new rule is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! Rant over!!
