Steal These Buttons
These buttons are free for you to copy and use however you like, as long as you don't claim that you made them yourself. You don't have to give me credit, though of course I would like it if you did.
Right click and "Save As...", or drag onto your desktop, or copy in whatever way is appropriate for your browser, then upload to your own webspace for your own personal use. You won't be able to link to them directly from my site, because I've tweaked it so that you can't.
Creating buttons
The 80x15 bi-coloured buttons were mostly generated with the fantastic online Button Maker. There are zillions of these buttons around on the web, mostly on blogs. At times I used Photoshop Elements 2 to tweak or add graphics. The font used is Jason Kottke's free Silkscreen.
You can find a Photoshop template for buttons for download here. You will need to get the Silkscreen font, as linked to above.
XML feeds
Yes, some of the oranges and greys look lighter than the others. They're not, though, it's an optical illusion. If you don't believe me, download them and check the colours with a paint package. I checked. They're the same. It's the balance of the amount of white text vs the background I think.

Trackback
I put a link on each individual blog entry's page which will give you the URL to ping for trackback. (If you don't know what this is you probably don't need to bother with it.) There's also one for permanent links to a page, though I don't use it.
